Friday the 13th (1980): A group of fun-loving teenagers take jobs at a recently re-opened summer camp, unaware of the circumstances that had led to its closure: the drowning of a young boy named Jason and subsequent murder of two counselors over 20 years before. No sooner has the camp re-opened for business than the killing begins again.
Friday the 13th: Part 2(1981): The action takes place in the vicinity of the infamous Camp Crystal Lake, where the counselors from the neighboring holiday camps come visiting and thus make themselves available to the grisly attentions of the psychotic Jason. One by one the carefree teenagers begin to disappear, their bodies turning up slaughtered in a variety of imaginative ways.
